About Mariela

Hi there! My name is Mariela, and I've dedicated my life and career to working with children. I have experience in daycare settings, as a nanny, K-12, and higher education. I worked at two daycares in the Lexington area over three years, caring for groups of 6-12 children at a time as an assistant teacher. I've also worked as a full-time nanny for two families, caring for infants through toddlers. Nanny responsibilities included childcare, light housework, laundry, meal prep, attending appointments, taking children to classes and therapies, traveling with families, & supporting bilingual language development. I'm an outgoing, creative, and hands-on caregiver who loves doing arts, crafts, and enrichment activities with kids. I believe children learn best through play, consistency, and positive relationships, & I strive to bring calm, structure, and joy into every home I work in. I would love the opportunity to bring my experience, energy, & passion for childcare to a new family!
