About Marie

I'd describe my personality as caring, patient, friendly I like tutoring because I enjoy being around children. I was a 3-6 grade teacher for 8 years in a private school setting. I am passionate about children reaching and passing their potential, seeing them excited about learning. I want to make a difference in someone else's life in a positive manner, no matter what age. I'm looking for a job that is somewhat flexible, enjoy the time spent teaching and seeing the child learning. I want to be in an environment where the parent(s) have complete trust in me in their home. I started tutoring when I was teaching throughout my 8 years in the private school in OC. In my spare time, I like to read, watch my favorite shows, visit family and friends, go on trips whenever possible. One thing you should know about me is that I am very honest. I expect the same from others as well. Without honesty one can't build trusting relationships My skills include reading, spelling, comprehension.
