About Marie

I'm looking for a summer job that has a steady schedule. I am very flexible and can work some weekends or evenings if needed but I am only available from May 19 to August 15. I attend the University of Mary studying Math Education so my hope is to be a middle school math teacher in the future. I began working with kids when I was in middle school by babysitting for families occasionally, and I fell in love with it. I worked at a pool for a summer around kids and have spent time as a nanny for a 5-month-old. I have also worked as a camp counselor for high school students. I would describe myself as a very nurturing person who loves to having fun with kids while maintaining safety. Something to know about me is that I am a practicing Catholic and I find joy in living out and sharing my faith in a gentle and respectful way. While I am happy to incorporate faith-based values or activities if a family desires, I always honor each family's unique beliefs and preferences.
