About Marilyn

I've been working with children since I was 15 years old. working with kids brings me so much joy especially when I get to witness a milestone that has a positive impact on their growth and confidence. I'm CPR & AED certified, I'm also an experienced swim instructor working with children of all ages. I've also completed a training course with Pathfinders Autism Awareness Program where I worked with children on the spectrum helping them become water safe and water ready. I've also spent several summers as a camp counselor, managing up to 30 kids daily with two other counselors creating fun, safe, and engaging environments for everyone. I have a friendly, positive and calm personality that helps me connect easily with children of all ages. I'm a patient adaptable person with strong communication & problem solving skills. In my spare time I like to stay active by swimming, reading or catching up on my favorite shows. I'm flexible with my time and looking for a positive work environment
