About Marilynn

I have experience working as a tutor, helping students with homework, classwork, and preparing for test in a way that fits their learning style. I enjoy making learning fun and helping kids feel more confident in subjects they may find challenging. My tutoring experience connects well with my role as an Instructional Assistant where I provide extra support in the classroom and help students stay on track. I'm also bilingual in Spanish and English, which allows me to better communicate with students and families from diverse backgrounds. I have a bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences, and Disorders (speech therapy) with a minor in Child Development, which has deepened my understanding of how children learn and how to best support their growth.
