About Marina

Hi, my name is Marina. I have a Bachelor's in Philosophy with a minor in Early Childhood Education. I currently substitute teach in Tuscaloosa County and City Schools, previously worked as a special education assistant, and am launching my own private school this August. Until then, I am looking to stay busy doing what I love---working with kids and supporting parents. I take a gentle, intentional approach, fostering communication and using children's interests to create engaging learning experiences. Whether it's through creative play, structured learning, or everyday conversations, I aim to make a positive impact on the lives of each child I work with. I could not think of a more complementary way to spend my summers than by offering my time to support the parents raising the next generation of our community.
