About Marisa

In my spare time, I like to spend time with my border collie pup, Disco, read, and work on my art. One thing you should know about me is I'm a very attentive and caring person. I'm very intuitive when it comes to picking up on people's emotions and feelings. My skills include a wide-net of conceptual and material based art practices, everything from traditional painting and printmaking, to mixed media and experimental practices. Avid researcher within fine arts discipline, but also well versed in subjects as philosophy and literature. I am fluent in Spanish, grew up speaking, writing and reading daily with my family and essential for growing up in El Paso, TX. I studied Biochemistry for 3 years at university before transitioning into art.
