I've been in childcare for over 8 years now. I've worked full-time at Bright Horizons and part-time with several gig-based agencies. This means I am up-to-date with infant/child first aid and CPR, safe sleep and mealtime practices for the little ones, and all my vaccinations (flu too!) I got my bachelors at Loyola University Chicago in psych and behavioral cognitive neuroscience in 2022 and have been using it to nurture children and their families ever since. Currently, I work full-time supporting youth through the field of social work, so I'm limited to weekends, and the occasional weekday evening. I bring a calm approach to childcare, prioritizing that your child feels comfortable - which can be hard with a new sitter! It's also important to me that we stick to their routine as much as possible and that I follow your lead with any redirecting of behaviors. I do specialize in infant care and can tell you more about that should you have any questions, but I'm comfortable with all ages.

Marissa is one of the best nannies we've had. She takes great care of our 10 months old twins. She is always calm and has a great smile while dealing with them. She is consistently engaging them by reading for them and teaching them a new skill. They always love when Marissa is around. She is also very organized. She does a great job feeding them and puts them to bed effortlessly, which is not an easy task with our twins. We are lucky to have her!
