About Marissa

My name is Marissa and I'm a Middle School teacher in Fairfax County Public Schools. While my current teaching position is in Middle School, I have experience working with upper Elementary to early High School as well. The majority of my tutoring experience has been for executive functioning coaching, general homework help, and supporting students with adhd/learning disabilities/IEPs/504s to stay on track with school and help build their confidence/independence. I have supported students who attend both public schools and private schools. During the school year, I am available after school hours and on the weekends. During the Summer, I have additional availability. I have a Master's Degree in Educational Leadership, am fully vaccinated, have my own car, and love pets. Most of the families I have had the pleasure of working with have been year-long clients, as I love to build relationships with students and their families that I work with.
