I have over a decade of experience with caring for dogs, cats, smaller mammals, birds, reptiles & amphibians, fish, exotic pets, & farm animals. Please feel free to read my client reviews! I'm a true animal lover & have been known to coax even shy animals from out of their shell. I'm available for all sorts of house-sitting chores, as well. Check-in visits are $30 for a half hour, and $45 for an hour. $10 per additional pet. $100 for overnights (5 p.m. - 9am) in your home, $10 per additional pet. After moving to the area recently I was searching for a  new caretaker for my nervous lady pit bull. Marissa is extremely thoughtful and caring with my pup. Marissa is a compassionate, trustworthy, reliable caregiver. She took care of our pets and house while we were away and it was such a relief to not worry about a thing while we were gone. She kept us updated with pictures everyday. I would highly recommend her as a caregiver to anyone!

Marissa didn’t just stop by and feed my cat. She spent time waiting for him to come out of hiding, cuddled and played with him when he did, updated me with photos and how he was doing and made me feel so much better about being away from him. Her love for animals really shows in the way she cares for them!

Marissa is amazing! I’ve used her 3 times already and every time has been a breeze! 3 of my 4 cats require special attention and Marissa does it all with ease and no hesitation. I just got back from being out of town for over a week; and I have never come back to a more calm and balanced dog! My dog is a rescue who needs medication 2x daily, is reactive and needs a muzzle, but is also the most amazing animal if she receives consistent routine & structure. Marissa clearly accomplished that consistency while I was gone. The proof is in the pooch! She also left my home cleaner than when I left for my trip! And washed my dog’s snuffle mat. She sent me photos several times each day and communicated proactively about just about every aspect of my dog’s care. Thank you Marissa! I think Jezzie misses you and we hope to see you soon. 

Marissa watched my 4 cats for a long weekend and did an amazing job! 2 of my cats have autoimmune diseases and 1 of my cats is feral who needs to stay separated from the rest. Marissa did not mind all of the rules and took care of each cat with immense love and respect! I was sent loads of photos and videos every day with an end of day note! Marissa is awesome!!! 

Marissa is one of the sweetest people I've ever met! They have a big heart and understand the relationships between pets and their owners! Marissa is super communicative about everything - what time she will be there every day, if they ever have a single question, if their schedule shifts even the slightest, and ALWAYS checks in everyday with photos and videos of my cat Daisy when she comes to look after her. So I always know she's in good hands with someone who cares so much about animals! There have been times where I've asked Marissa on very short notice if they could help out and they always were willing to make it work with their schedule. Couldn't recommend them enough!!

Marissa has been taking great care of my dog when I'm out of town for a few years now. Always dependable! It's clear she enjoys spending time with him. And he loves having visitors. I have recommended her to others, and will continue to do so!

Marissa is a LIFE SAVER! I have two special needs dogs, one who is geriatric and one who is reactive. She is punctual, kind, patient, and easy to communicate with. She was able to learn their special needs and help me during a time when I was recovering from an injury and could not walk them. I am so grateful and plan to continue to have her as a part of their care routine. Highly recommended.

Marissa is fantastic!!  I don't know what I would do without her.  She has been great with both of my animals and has worked with my crazy unpredictable schedule. She always goes above and beyond for my pets and I am so grateful! My cat who is a bit shy and skiddish, is very happy and calm around her. And my puppy, who is a handful, absolutely loves her.

Marissa was great! Not only did she feed my cats while I was away but she took time to spend with the cats and play with them too. You can tell she loves animals and loves her job. Marissa watched my two young cats for about a week and a half over the holidays, and I cannot recommend her highly enough! She sent pictures every day so I knew my kitties were getting plenty of food, play time, and love. I arrived back to a tidy apartment and happy kitties, and would hire again in a heartbeat!

Marissa has been a life saver for my dog Tippy and I.  She is always on time, quick to respond, and very professional.  Tippy gets so excited to see her and is always tired and happy after their walks.  We are so happy to have found her!
