About Marissa

Hi, I'm Marissa! I have over 3 years of experience working with children in both home and school settings. I've babysat for several families and have worked in special day classes with preschool and elementary-aged students. I have a bachelor's degree in Speech Language Pathology and recently completed an internship to become a licensed Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA), which has helped me develop strong skills in communication, patience, and creating supportive environments for everyone, especially the pediatrician population. I have my own car, so transportation isn't an issue, I am very comfortable with pets, I do not smoke and I am CPR certified. I'm dependable, caring, and enjoy making each day fun and engaging, whether that means playing games, helping with homework, or encouraging positive routines. My goal is to ensure every child feels safe, supported, and confident. I'd love the opportunity to get to know your family and be a part of your child's growth!
