About Marissa

Hi there! My name is Marissa! I am currently a Graduate Student with a 3. 91 GPA attending Kean University. I am receiving my Masters in 2025 in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I am a graduate from the University of Alabama with a bachelors in Criminal Justice and a minor in Psychology, my graduate GPA was a 3. 3. I tutored physics in High School. I currently work in a group home setting where I am tasked with helping girls 12-17 with their homework. I am very knowledgeable in a multitude of areas including Math, Science, Psychology and English. I received a 33 on my ACT in 2017 which lead me to receive admission to every college I applied to. I only took the exam once. I work with children in many areas, from child care to coaching cheerleading and teaching behavioral therapy. I just interned at Kean University as a therapist in their Bridge to Succes program, helping students get back on track academically. I also interned at JIS as a child therapist.
