About Marissa

I'm a proud mom of two children, ages 8 and 6, and caring for others has always been a meaningful part of my life. I help my father care for my elderly mother, who has Parkinson's disease, so I understand the importance of patience, compassion, and attentive support for all ages. I hold a college degree and have worked as an event coordinator for the past 16 years at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital and WMCHealth. Now, I'm ready to step away from event planning and focus on something closer to my heart: helping families care for their loved ones, both young and old. I'm happy to assist with light housekeeping, cooking, and driving. I will keep you updated in whatever way you prefer, whether that's through texts or phone calls. I aim to create a space where your loved one feels safe, supported, and genuinely cared for. I'd describe my personality as kind, patient, outgoing. In my spare time, I like to take my kids to spend time with family, go out to restaurants, watch movies.
