About Marla

I have always loved being around children! I have worked in preschools, daycare as well as K-12 school settings. I've always had a mutual rapport with kids and truly connect and identify with them. I graduated from a State University with a BS in Child Development. My other work experience includes working as a Nanny, Pet/House Sitter, Family Assistant, Registrar/Counseling Secretary at a High School, Youth Adviser, Teacher, Camp Counselor, working at a residential facility. I have worked at an elementary school with children ages K-5th grade in the Learning Resource Center as a Resource Assistant. My three most recent work experience Includes a full time Nanny for two girls ages 6 and 8, Instructional Assistant in a Special Day Class at a High School and, a Site Coordinator for the YMCA, where I managed and facilitated an after school program at an elementary school. All of my career has been focused on making a difference in the lives of children and supporting families.
