After years of experience in the business world, from a House Operations Manager at a theater to being a Staff Accountant for several years, my focus had to shift as my father fell ill but recovered, although not the same after. And my mom continued to deteriorate from her renal failure diagnosis years ago. I take her to her dialysis treatment 3 times a week. Eventually, my parents moved in with me and my husband to give them the help they need. It hasn't been easy but I have found this new purpose on life. I enjoy the time I spend with them knowing I'm providing them the quality of life they deserve. They are very grateful to have the love and support from their children and grandchildren. After all, it is our turn to take care of them. Family is very important to me. I believe it truly is the foundation of our lives.
