About Marnie

My name is Marnie, a caregiver for almost 10 years. I am a Certified Personal Care Assistant. Being a caregiver reminds me of my family way back home and they are my strength, motivation and inspiration to do my job. I love this profession because it made me grow. I mostly took care of people suffering from Alzheimer's Disease, Dementia and Cancers and sometimes just simply a Companionship. I prepare their meals and sometimes I cook for them, I help them by reminding and administering medications for them. I helped them to shower and sometimes just a sponge bath. My job also includes some light housekeeping. I also run some errands for them. I took them out for a walk, to get some fresh air and sometimes took them to their appointments. I also have a driver's license and sometimes my job includes driving. Most of all, my responsibility is to make sure that my employer is well-taken cared of, they are safe, comfortable and happy.
