Hello, I am a single mother of a six and 9-year-old. I currently work for a 20-year-old woman with a severe seizure disorder. I assist her with walking eating drinking and toileting. My client doesn't walk very well she wears a harness and needs to be caught at a moments notice. I'm a rock climber and swimmer so I have no problems keeping her safe. It's my great honor to be her hands and feet. In my 20s I worked for Home Instead Senior Care the elderly woman I cared for and I became very close and she called me her adoptive granddaughter. Some of my best friends are the elderly we laugh and joke around and I have an understanding for dementia and memory loss. I have always been able to connect with the elderly and those with disabilities very well. My son is autistic and I have dyslexia and ADHD so I feel a very strong connection with those with disabilities. They are often marginalized and misunderstood and so therefore I have a huge heart for them. Thank you for your consideration!
