I love helping people! There are so many things that people miss out on because of limitations in mobility, vision, or hearing. For some It's difficult to arrange for transportation to an event or a family gathering. Or they have stopped cooking at home because they don't go shopping anymore or can't clean up afterward. Sometimes, it's just needing somebody to take you to an event or help you get ready for it. Or prepare a picnic and go to Ravinia. There are so many little things that people need help with outside of nursing care. I truly enjoy spending time with the senior population. Even though I am 62, I still feel very young and still look up to my elders. I ended up leaving college to care for my mother, who had parkinson's. My career included work at two churches as the administrator. This introduced me to many seniors whom I ended up helping in many different ways. Please let me know if I can help in any way on a one-time basis or for reoccurring tasks.
