About Mary Ann

Learning comes naturally in an engaging and supportive environment. I aim to empower students to develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills that lead to long-term success. For many years, I have provided customized instruction to elementary and middle school students. I assess learning styles by actively listening and observing a student's initial interactions with new material. By varying my teaching strategies, I am able to incorporate visual aids, hands-on activities, discussions, and practice problems. Communication is essential. I maintain open dialogue with students and parents to ensure optimal outcomes. Nothing is more rewarding than seeing a student's confidence grow as they master new skills.
