About Maryclaire

As a college student studying Elementary Education, I have a passion for educating young people! I am very comfortable helping elementary age students with reading, writing, math, science, language arts, etc. I've spent my whole life studying music and acting, so I usually find a way to bring that into my teaching style (if your child needs to learn their multiplication tables, we just might write a song about it so they can remember!) I am also able to write in cursive and would be more than happy to assist in teaching your child how to write in english cursive. I am a very hands on teacher, and believe that every child is a unique learner with unique needs, which I take into account when tutoring. Because I am a full time college student, I am largely unavailable until the end of March, but starting in April I will have much much more availability. I look forward to helping students continue their learning outside of school and into the world!
