About Mary Elizabeth

Fortunately, I have gained a lot of experience with elderly care through helping my grandmother for the last few years. She came to live with my family when her health took a turn for the worse. I have learned a lot on how to be there emotionally, mentally, and physically for her. I have cooked meals, and helped her change and go to the restroom and taken her to doctor appointments. In the last year or so, she has developed severe dementia that has taught me how to be patient and understand how minds like hers work. I am grateful for all the ways I have learned how to take care of an elderly person through her, and it has made me very passionate about helping people and giving them what they need in moments when they can't help themselves.
