No recent childcare experience for others. I have always loved babies/children and wanted a large family myself. Because of my age and wanting to stay at home to raise them we stopped at 2. I had a full time Accounting career with EDS til our first son was born in 1998. A 2nd son followed in 2000. Through the years I was able to do some part time residential property management, bookkeeping, and census work. Our boys were 10/12 when I accepted an Accounting position with a small Dallas Commercial Real Estate Corp. It was a perfect fit, mostly working 9-2, sometimes more. The owner was an intelligent family man too. He had 3 HS/College age daughters so he understood life and women! Unfortunately due to the main client (Swiss) deciding to sell all US and Canada properties, he decided to move his office home in 2018 and I was laid off with 3 mo. severance. I worked at a friends CPA office 12/18-4/19 and was looking for work when COVID hit. Our sons were at College. Empty nest 10/26/23
