About Mary

I'd describe my personality as engaging, friendly, empathetic I like tutoring because I like helping other people figure out how to be successful, showing the basics and encouraging them to apply their skills to more complex problems. I like helping people find their strengths, identify weaknesses, and figure out how to use that self-knowledge to be the best they can be. I'm looking for a job that relationships, employs my talents, and allows me to help others. I started tutoring as a high school teacher in 1989. I then homeschooled my kids from 2000 to 2019. They have grown up to be very successful students and good citizens. In my spare time, I like to workout, read, serve my community, spend time with my family. One thing you should know about me is I believe we should strive for excellence and live ethically meaningful lives. My skills include understanding others' perspectives, ability to listen, and am organized.
