About Mary

Nurturing young minds is more than a job for me; it's a passion. I am a mother of two grown children and have six years experience teaching preschool. My four years as a nanny caring for children aged 12 mo to 12 years have solidified my desire to positively impact their lives. I hold a college degree in education and have completed Early Child Development coursework. I am also a certified teacher. I am patient, creative, and approachable, and I love engaging children with educational games. I am comfortable caring for up to four children at a time. I can assist with cooking, meal preparation, and light housekeeping. I communicate with parents at pickup or via their preferred method. I am very comfortable enforcing household rules. I am certified in First Aid and CPR. I hope to bring my experience and enthusiasm to your family.
