About Mary-louise

Over the last 8 years I have worked with numerous families to care for and tutor children. Throughout high school and college I volunteered with local churches in their children and youth programs and even worked as the Assistant Director of Children's Ministry. For two summers I worked at various summer camps working with children and youth from ages 3-18. In January of 2021 I began an internship with a non-profit that works with inner-city, at risk children and youth to mentor them and tutor them. My experience thus far with children has allowed me to strengthen my communication skills as well as how I relate to, work with, and understand children and youth of all ages. I have recently graduated from Palm Beach Atlantic University with a degree in Christian Social Ministries and will be starting a Master's of Social Work in the fall at Florida State University with a certification in child welfare. While I am not CPR/First Aid certified, this is something I am pursuing.
