About Mary

Caring for my father during his battle with dementia instilled in me a deep appreciation for the impact of compassionate support. I'm eager to help other families navigate the challenges of aging with dignity. As a caregiver, I provide respite care, transportation, help with errands and shopping, light housekeeping, and meal preparation. I am also comfortable supporting individuals with dementia. I have experience adapting to changing routines, de-escalating stressful situations, and handling confusion or agitation. My experience with my dad taught me the importance of patience, compassion, and respect. I always follow a family's preferred communication method. Building a connection begins with kindness and respect, carefully listening to understand individual needs, and being sensitive to the desire for independence. I have a car and am comfortable with pets. I look forward to bringing my skills and empathy to your family.
