About Mary

Hi! My name is Mary and I'm a new mom to my 6-month-old little girl. I've been working as a psychologist for NY state the past couple of years but recently left to try and find some work where I can have a bit of a more flexible schedule and bring along with me (lots of studies describe positive benefits from having youth around aging populations!) Before I was a psychologist, I was a nanny/substitute teacher for a bit and a direct support worker for people with disabilities in homes with elderly populations. I would assist with daily care tasks such as dressing, eating, changing and help with outings/appointments. I really enjoyed my job and only left because of the demanding hours. Honestly, I'm just trying to make some sort of living while also being able to have my girl with me. She's a great companion and destined to be a great little helper!
