About Maryssa

Hi! My name is Maryssa-I'm 25 years old and currently a high school English teacher. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Secondary Education (K-12) and English Literature, with a minor in Special Education. Alongside my teaching career, I've been a dedicated babysitter and nanny for over seven years, primarily during summers and part-time throughout the year. Since 2018, I've consistently cared for children ranging in age from 6 months to 13 years. I also have six years of experience coaching dance and cheerleading, which has given me even more opportunities to work closely with kids in fun, structured environments. I genuinely value the connections I've made with the families I've worked with-many of whom I still stay in touch with, often attending birthday parties and helping out with babysitting whenever needed. I also have two dogs of my own, so I'm very comfortable with pets in the home. I'm reliable, caring, and would love the opportunity to work with your family over the summer!
