About Mary

I am a certified teacher (Pennsylvania Level II in Elementary Education, Special Education, and ESL) with 14 years of experience. At the elementary level, I can provide homework help, reading and math intervention, and beginner and intermediate Spanish tutoring. I can also tutor middle and high school students in literacy and essay writing. I am also available to work with students with special needs, or provide consultation for navigating education decisions for students with special needs. My rate is consistent with my experience. I first do a casual meet and greet with the student to ensure a good fit, and then I do a baseline assessment and gather data. Once I have a focus for tutoring, I provide a tutoring plan, and update parents with progress reports.
