About Mary

I am originally from Chicago, but I moved here to Seattle in June 2012. I have an undergraduate degree in accounting and have decided to go back to school to get my masters. I am starting the UW masters program to become an elementary school teacher in July of this year! The masters program is full-time (M-F) which prohibits me from being able to work my current full-time job. I would ideally like to work between 5-10 hours per week or weekends starting in June of this year. I have a pet myself, a yellow lab named Charlie. I got Charlie when he was only 8 weeks old and now he is almost 5! He is a huge part of our family and is one lucky, spoiled dog! I believe in providing dogs with good nutrition and lots of exercise. I have grown up my whole life around dogs and could not imagine not having them in my life. As a child growing up in a dog loving family, we always had 2 or 3 dogs at a time living in our house ranging from a Cocker Spaniel, Beagle, Coonhound, and Labs! I also have direct experience with other families dogs and cats. I have taken care of family pets for a weekend or week at a time. I feel very comfortable with most breeds of dogs or cats.
