About Mary
I was a Big Sister to a 9-year-old girl and a 7-year-old boy in a local elementary school. I tutored them in reading. I enjoyed seeing their progress from week to week. I am a firm believer that teaching a child to read is the key to how they learn now and in their future. Children learn faster when they excel in reading. They are so proud of themselves when they can read successfully. I can also teach basic piano lessons. I love to see their little faces when they learn how to play piano by reading sheet music.
