About Matthew

I have been teaching in the school systems for over 20 years. I have worked with all levels of students and hold certifications in middle school math, and in health and fitness. I am eager to work with your student to make the content relatable and fun. As a tutor and a teacher, I hope to really understand how each student learns and make the learning experience as great as possible. I'd describe my personality as warm, endearing, and easy-going. I like tutoring because I like teaching, and education is my passion. There is no greater reward than to help a student learn and maximize his or her potential. I started tutoring when I began teaching, and have done some reading, English, and math tutoring. In my spare time, I like to workout, spend time with my family, and enjoy the outdoors. One thing you should know about me is I want to make people feel comfortable and be at ease around me. My skills include mathematics, health and fitness.
