About Maura

I'm a former preschool teacher who has a passion for working with children and helping them learn as well as making sure they feel safe, comfortable and valued as a whole person. Within this position, I have achieved my CPR certification as well as state training in caregiving and safe sleep precautions. I'd describe my personality as bubbly, energetic and optimistic. I'm looking for a job that is respectful of my experience as a childcare provider with a livable wage in order for me to be able to do what I love and get paid for it. In my spare time, I like to draw and paint as well as take walks in the park! One thing you should know about me is I have extensive background experience with children in both educational and home settings. I am currently a student at Webster University, where I am pursuing both art education and studio art.
