About Maura Elba

Maura cared for our two boys, ages 2 and 4 years, for the past six months, and we are happy to recommend her to help find her next family. She helped our family with school drop off and pick up, and brought our boys to the park after school. Here are some highlights about Maura: - She is kind and truly cares about our boys. She knows about their interests and caters to them in their play together. - She is extremely dependable. She is always on time, flexible if we need extra hours, and also comfortable caring for the kids when they are sick. She has never missed a day or been late. - She is extremely patient. Whether its strong feelings or sibling fighting, Maura is always very calm and patient with our boys. - She speaks Spanish and our boys have both learned to speak it in their time together (note that she speaks minimal English). - She is comfortable following our family preferences and routines, and adapts when we have shared feedback with her. - She is willing to help out where needed. For example, she helps with the kids laundry and general tidying in their play areas, for which we are very grateful
