Hello! I'm Maura, a retired educator with 30+ years of experience caring for children, seniors, and pets. I previously owned a Montessori-inspired daycare and worked in public schools supporting children with special needs. I also cared for my mother during hospice.

I offer part-time care focused on calm, meaningful connection-whether it's reading, memory games, music, nature walks, or light errands. I'm happy to support preschoolers, grade-school children, seniors, and pets with dependable, nurturing care.

While I'm unable to assist with lifting or personal care tasks, I bring warmth, patience, and reliability to every visit. Looking forward to connecting!

Maura is exceptional at caring for our children and we will certainly hire her again. She is punctual, communicative and very engaging. Our children span a wide age range and Maura manages the dynamic with ease.

I have four children and Maura has been caring for them for many years.  Whenever My husband and I have somewhere to go, she is always the one we ask. She is caring, considerate, nurturing, engaging, and they love her so much. She has helped so many times with homework and school projects, and helps the kids break down their work when at times they feel overwhelmed. She has a way of easing their mind and creating positively and her guidance has been so valuable to me as well.   Last Christmas we also got two puppies,  and when we wanted to go on a few weekend trips, she offered to watch the dogs! She stayed at our house and was so thorough with questions regarding their routine, etc. She even sent us pictures and updates of the dogs (just as she's done with the kids)! Maura is amazing and we feel so lucky to have her in our lives and we are so grateful that we never have worry when leavening our children (and dogs)!

I have worked with Maura for about three years in an elementary classroom setting. The word wonderful does not capture how awesome Maura is. She is one of the most patient, caring, and hardworking people that I have ever shared a classroom with. She devotes her time and patience to her students, helping them through whatever they need.
