Hi! I'm Maxwell, a piano teacher and multimedia artist with a passion for helping kids fall in love with music. I've been teaching since late 2020, and have led hundreds of one-on-one lessons with students of all ages and learning styles. My teaching is holistic: that means we don't just focus on reading notes or playing scales - we explore improvisation, creativity, music theory, technique, and how music connects to our everyday lives. I believe music should be joyful and deeply personal, and I aim to create a supportive space where that can happen.

Maxwell has been such an engaged and caring person with our children, especially our youngest two (ages 9 and 10). Our family lives in a residence hall, where Maxwell is a student. Whenever he's with them he always listens closely and follows their interests. And when our children attend events in the building, Maxwell always helps them to feel comfortable. He's flexible and always positive. I especially appreciate how he's worked with our son to make stop-motion videos, and present their work to our whole community! Really, he's become a great family friend - and we're so grateful to have him in the residence hall with us!
