About Mayan

I have been in the industry for seven years providing fantastic care to families and agencies. I am passionate about childcare, and I am fulfilled when working with families. I have worked for households/companies that need care for newborn infants to 11-year-old school aged children. I am currently obtaining a degree in child development and regularly attend online seminars or participate in discussion forums pertaining to childcare and children. I believe I can connect with kids from many age groups and provide age and developmentally-appropriate activities that are fun for everyone. I offer a safe and nurturing environment for a child's physical, mental, and emotional well-being. I am dependable, results-oriented, and organized. I think critically to solve problems and have conflict-resolution skills. I can adapt well to many different environments and do not falter under pressure. I am patient and empathetic, work well with others, and can communicate effectively.
