As a teacher myself, I have a high bar in what I am looking for when it comes to the quality of a person‘s interactions with my child. I highly recommend Mae. She is kind, patient, and playful with our almost 3-year old. When playing with toys, the quality of the discussion and dialogue enhances my son‘s speech and social skills. This is especially valuable to me because we have her speak to him exclusively in Spanish. (She speaks to my husband and me in English.) When she leaves, our son consistently asks for her and tells me how much he likes being with her. I appreciate the fact that she is also able to get him to do what she needs him to do without him ever feeling forced or scolded. That’s what good discipline looks like in my book. Mae is also reliable, communicative, hardworking, and able to take direction.
