My name is McKenna , and I am a compassionate and dedicated State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) with over seven years of experience providing care to seniors. My passion for caregiving began when I cared for my grandmother before she entered a nursing home. Helping her with daily tasks and offering companionship taught me how important patience, kindness, and respect are in caregiving. Those early experiences have shaped the way I approach every person I care for. I am skilled in assisting with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility support, including the safe use of hoyer lifts. I have experience caring for individuals with dementia, chronic illnesses, and those receiving hospice or end-of-life care. My approach focuses not only on physical care but also on providing emotional support, ensuring each resident feels valued and comfortable. Communication is a key part of my caregiving.
