About Mckenzie

I currently work as a paraprofessional in a middle school. I provide lesson modifications to meet the needs and abilities of the students in our special education program. Before becoming a tutor, I was teaching Grade 5 in Cambodia. While in Cambodia, I taught English, Social Studies, and Math to the students. These children were not native English speakers, so we worked through language barriers. In my class, there were a lot of students who were learning English for the first time, so I had to create a lot alternative lessons and provide one on one after school support in order for the students to reach their goals and become more proficient in the English language.
