About Megan

Hello, My name is Megan! I grew up with my mother having a home daycare and eventually working within the school system which inspired me to work with kids, then become a teacher and nanny. I started babysitting at 12 and have ever since (18 years). I worked four years caring for and teaching infants and toddlers. Then taught two years of preschool. I have worked with school age children for three summers. I have been a nanny for five and a half years and love each family that I have worked with. I have an associates degree in early childhood education and a certification in it! I love outdoors but am also fine with reading, crafts, etc inside. My lesson plans are learning age appropriate as are my expectations of behavior. Communication and trust is key with me! I hope to meet a lovely family soon and have many references upon request as well as reviews on my page!

Megan cared for our daughter for many years (since my daughter was a few months old) and we were so lucky to have her. She was very active with my daughter…whether it was taking her to a nearby playground, playing with her, painting or doing crafts. I loved seeing this. Megan was very responsible, kind and always adhered to any house rules we had. My daughter has so many wonderful memories from their time spent together. I highly recommend Megan!!
