About Meg

My paid teaching experience is with college students and adults in several past jobs. I have also worked closely with my 17-year-old twins helping them in a variety of subjects, especially in middle and high school (the past 6 years), and am familiar with the Montgomery County public school curriculum. I love helping people understand new ideas and connect them with things they already know. Watching things make sense is joyful. My skills include planning larger assignments, chunking work, and helping students work out ideas. I have extensive knowledge of grammar and vocabulary. My bachelor's degree is in social science and I have an MBA. I can help with English, drama, social studies, business, economics, and statistics. My schedule is flexible. I'm compassionate and curious and have a good sense of humor. In my spare time, I like to cook, read, listen to history podcasts, and tat (it's a type of lace-making). I'm also a word nerd.
