About Meghan

Hello! My name is Meg : ) I am a freelance artist based in Minneapolis! I have received my BFA from the University of Wisconsin with a minor in Children's Art Education, and have 5 years of experience in childcare/teaching. Prior to receiving my degree I nannied part time for a family. I watched two kids around the ages of seven and nine. This is when I really fell in love with working with children! For the last few years I have been working with kids as an art teacher at a local children's art studio and a caretaker for children of all ages that are diagnosed with Autism. These jobs made me realize that I want to go back to school to get my Masters in Art Therapy. I think art is a powerful tool for self-love, and I appreciate the experience to share that with everyone I am able to. I would love the opportunity to work with your kids in whatever capacity you need; keeping them on schedule while also celebrating the joy and creativity that exists in the tasks of everyday life!
