About Meghan

Do you have pets and wish you could stay with them all day? Do you worry about them on vacation? Do you yearn to take them with you wherever you go? Do you wish you had the time to teach them basic manners as well as how to sit, stay, and heel? I know how that feels as I used to be that person. I would wake up, greet my pups, cuddle them and get them walked and fed. Then I would have to leave and go to my day job. I understand the urge to call in sick and snuggle with them all day. Currently, I volunteer with The Simon Foundation in Bloomfield as well as Tails You Win! in Manchester. In both roles, I am the extra set of eyes and ears that each company values and appreciates. My participation allows each instructor/employee to focus on what is important. Not every animal I train/walk is friendly. Therefore, having an extra person to take care of every day duties (greet potential customers, walk and play with the animals and clean up after class) reduces stress and yields a more efficient and successful shelter/center. I enjoy my work and it is something I look forward to each week. One of my goals is to become a certified dog trainer through Karen P. Academy. I am currently enrolled in their Dog Trainer Professional course and am enjoying all that I am learning. I am a dog owner myself and it is a dream of mine to not only work with animals but also compete in many of American Kennel Club agility trials and obedience competitions. I am currently taking an obedience class from Tails You Win, in Manchester with one of my dogs, Molly, a 7-month-old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. You can rest assured that when your pets are in my possession, I will give them quality care and attention. I guarantee you that they will be loved and kept safe and secure. I will supply you with as many updates as possible via text message and give a report at the end of each day. Thank you so much for allowing me the pleasure of working with you and your pet.
