About Meghan

For the past 10 years, I've been a dedicated Special Education Teacher, committed to fostering a love for learning and building confidence in my students. I create an engaging, supportive, and patient environment where students feel comfortable tackling any challenge. I actively listen to and observe students to understand their individual learning styles. Regular check-ins with parents and open communication ensures everyone is working together. I keep students motivated by connecting challenging topics to their interests, celebrating successes, and breaking down problems into manageable steps. As a certified teacher, I'm experienced with Individualized Education Programs (IEP) and student accommodation plans (504). I am K-12 certified and qualified to tutor subjects including, but not limited to, English, executive functioning, math, reading, science, special education, study skills, and test preparation at the elementary, middle, and high school levels.
