About Meghan

I'm passionate about fostering a love of learning in every student I work with. With three years of experience, I empower students to develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills for long-term success. I actively listen and observe their initial interactions with new material to assess a student's individual learning style and adapt my teaching methods accordingly. I celebrate small successes and provide consistent positive reinforcement to keep students motivated and engaged, especially when facing challenging concepts. I understand that communication builds trust and a collaborative environment among student, parent, and tutor. Witnessing a student's "aha!" moment when a concept clicks is the most rewarding aspect of being a tutor. I hold a college degree and am comfortable tutoring in math, English, science, and business at the student's home. I am also comfortable with pets.
