I am a special education teacher during the school year and am looking to keep active over the summer by engaging with my favorite population - seniors. I've worked with seniors for 6 years, 5 were in assisted living providing social programs such as games (bingo, cards, puzzles, etc.,) exercise class, cooking classes, socialization and walks. Anything and everything to keep seniors engaged and active physically and emotionally, including people with dementia. I also volunteered in a hospice program for three years providing home visits.
