About Melanie

My passion for working with children began in 2022, when I mentored teenagers at my church. I enjoyed teaching them new skills and planning engaging activities. That experience led me to substitute teaching, where I've spent the last year working with children of all ages and grades. I am patient, creative, and friendly. I enjoy playing outdoor games, board games, and educational games with children. I am comfortable caring for up to two children, enforcing household rules, and communicating with you through written daily reports, or your preferred method. I have some college education and current certifications in CPR and First Aid. I have a car, and I'm comfortable with pets. I speak both English and Spanish. I'm excited to bring my energy and enthusiasm to your family and create a nurturing environment for your children to thrive.
