I was a live-in nanny for almost 3 years and cared for 2 small children ages 1 and 2. Since then I have moved to Tennessee almost 5 years ago. I've been with the same family since March of 2021. I watch their 5-year-old twins, four days a week. I'm learning sign language and am helping one of the twins who is non-verbal and on the spectrum. I have watched several children in a wide range of ages. I have taken care of many children along with some light housekeeping. I have a daughter in college and I've watched my nieces and nephews with their friends all the time. I am comfortable around pets and have no problem doing light housework. I'm good with sticking to schedules or trying to get a schedule in place that works with the family. Bedtime routines have never been a problem for me. I am great with multiples and infants. I am currently no longer CPR/first aid certified.

Mel is an asset to my family. She’s very supportive and attentive to my girls. She entertains them while also giving them time to just be kids. She’s very communicative with the parents and always willing to adjust her schedule if an emergency happens. She’s become a regular for date nights. Mel provides an environment that’s both supportive is consistent and understanding. I wouldn’t hesitate to call on her and would recommend her to any family.
