Hello! my name is Melba I am 32 years old. I have more than 8 years in experience working with seniors. This year 2016 I received my certification as Home Health Aide. I want to continue in this path by preparing myself in this geriatric area. I took care of seniors with different conditions like Dementia, Alzheimer, Glaucoma, Diabetics, High blood pressure, Bedridden etc. I always do my best to help them... specially those ones who suffer for some types of Dementia. I have experience and knowledge with Dementia/Alzheimer's plus I took a Dementia Training this year to understanding the disease, enhancing communication, creating meaningful activities, home safety and managing challenging behaviors.
